Description of PLG Continuous Disc Dryer:

PLG disc / plate dryer is a kind of high efficiency conducting and continuous Drying Equipment. Plate dryer is widely used in drying process in the fields of chemical, new energy, pharmaceuticals, agricultural chemicals, foodstuff, fodder, and process of agricultural and by-products etc. Its working principle is as following:

Damp material is fed to the first layer drying disc continuously by feeder, the harrow arm that with harrow plate does rotation movement, so the harrow plates turn over the material continuously. Material moves along spiral line on the surface of drying disc. The material that on the small drying disc moves to the outer margin, and drops to the outer margin of big drying disc. One the big drying disc, material moves t inside part and drops to the next layer small drying disc from the middle dropping hole. Big and small drying discs array alternately, so material can flow past the whole dryer.

The drying disc is empty and heat medium is input it from one side, and then output from other side. The heating source can be saturated steam, hot water and thermal oil. The dried material drops to the bottom from the last layer drying disc. Moisture escapes from material, and exhausted from the dehumidifying port at the top cover. The moisture of vacuum type plate dryer is exhausted by vacuum pump. The discharged material can be packaged directly.
