Product Description

Description of Fluid bed dryer:

Fluidized Bed Dryer is a lucid solution for a fluid turbulence in granulated or wet powder produce by means of hot air flowing in an upward direction and drying the product to a desired temperature.

Wet granules are completely fluidized by a powerful steam or electrical hot air, there by achieving high heat transfer rate anduniform temperature across the product.

Mostly this innovative method has replaced the time-consuming tray drying long ago. The drying process with Fluidized bed dryer reduces the drying time. In addition, fluidized bed drying provides controlled and uniform drying conditions compared to the uneven drying in trays.

Fluid Bed Dryer

Work principle of Fluid Bed Dryer:

Fluidized Bed Dryer is designed to introduce the hot air stream at the base of the product container which is filled with the
material. Induced draught is created by means of blower and fresh air is sucked in to the unit. The fresh air is heat by means of electrical heaters or steam or thermic fluid heaters. This hot air stream expands the bed of material at certain velocity & creating turbulence in the product. The phenomenon is known as fluidisation and offer conditions which are almost ideal for drying. Fluidisation produces full agitation of solid particles and since each particle gets surrounded by hot air, heat transfer is extremely high and uniform. The product is dried fast without appreciable loss of heat. Filter bags prevent particles escaping from the dryer.

Structure of fluid bed dryer:

The machine consists of filter, electrical heater, fluid bed, fluidized chamber, dust remove chamber, exhaust air pipe, exhaust fan, silencer, and control cabinet.

1. Main machine: Main machine consists of inlet air chamber, fluid bed, fluidized chamber (including vacuum feed port), dust remove chamber. There are differential pressure devices for trolley and dust remove chamber.

2. Filter: Filter includes primary, middle and high efficient filter

3. Air exhaust system: It consists of exhaust air pipe, exhaust fan and silencer. Exhaust fan and main machine are installed separately. Noise≤75dB. Air volume is regulated by inverter.

4. Control system is PLC & HMI type. It adopts PID technology to control the inlet air temperature exactly. Measure and display outlet air temperature all the time so that we can control the drying process effectively.

5. Negative pressure feeding port: The negative pressure produced by the induced draft fan is used for feeding, which greatly reduces the labor cost. At the same time, the problem of dust flying during manual feeding is avoided

6. LED lamp: The equipment is equipped with LED spotlights, which can let us clearly see the fluidisation state of materials during operation.

7. Trolley with material container: It is designed with a special air distributor, which has uniform air distribution and good
material boiling effect to ensure the granulation effect. The mesh plate is installed in a quick installation structure, which is convenient for cleaning and maintenance.

8. Electric damper actuator: It can accurately control the intake air volume in the working process. Frequency converter can also be used to control the air volume of the system.
